Recently in College, I was tasked with creating a character that had a disability, that disability could be a mental health problem or a more physical one, so I decided to make a character that would have PTSD with the setting being a futuristic 1920s.

My main inspiration for this character came from an opera called The Magic Flute and more specifically the two characters, Pamina and the Queen of the Night. It is with that inspiration that I created a character whose PTSD stemmed from emotional abuse caused by her parents in an attempt to be "perfect" and this character also happened to come from a family who had the power to control darkness itself.
